About the role:

You will assist with the running and progression of Conveyancing transactions, including but not limited to:

• Handling incoming calls and other communications, responding to queries promptly, with the support of others where required.
• Preparing, receiving and verifying new client care park electronically, working closely with Solicitors and Fee Earners to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Verification of identification and source of funds for all new clients.
• Completing Title Checks under the direction of a Fee Earner.
• Drafting and issuing Contract Packs.
• Obtaining redemption statements.
• Dealing with pre-contact enquiries on sale files under the direct supervision of a Fee Earner.
• Preparing pre-completion paperwork, including invoices and Statements of Accounts.
• Updating our case management system proactively to ensure all matters accurately reflect current status.
• Complete tasks assigned by Fee Earner or other team members to ensure a smooth and swift service to clients.
• Working with our third party stakeholders to develop business relationships by providing excellent customer service.

About you:

We are looking for a bright, professional, team orientated Conveyancing Assistant to join our friendly Cheltenham Office and supportive team.

You will need to possess enthusiasm, a pro-active approach, the ability to adapt and learn quickly and a strong interest in property law.

We can offer you training so while previous experience and/or a relevant university degree is an advantage, we would still love to hear from talented people without experience, who are looking to pursue a career in residential conveyancing.
