Every 3 minutes dementia steals a happily ever after, robbing people of everything that makes them, well, them. If nothing changes, one in two of us will be directly affected by dementia – either by developing the condition ourselves, caring for someone with it, or both.
To help stop that become a reality we are promoting the work of this important charity.
One of our Board members is also running the London Marathon 2025 as a member of the Alzheimer’s Research UK fundraising.
Sue Ryder Leckhampton is Gloucestershire’s only inpatient unit for specialist palliative care, providing compassionate and expert support to people with life-limiting conditions.
Losing a loved one is never easy, but Sue Ryder makes it their mission to lend a shoulder to lean on. They are a source of strength and support for anyone living with a life-limiting illness or grief.
We are proud to promote Sue Ryder’s work and support this important service by volunteering at fundraising events. Staff have also previously raised a substantial sum by running the London Marathon in 2024 in support of Sue Ryder.
